B+W Slim Mount MRC UV Filters

B+W are a world-renowned filter manufacturer, part of the near-legendary German Schneider Optics company. This is their range of MRC slim mount UV filters, ideal for use on wide angle lenses where you might have got vignetting if you used a standard filter mount. The MRC filters are B+W's top of the range line, all are multicoated for protection against flare and resistance to dirt and moisture. A clear UV filter is of universal use in black & white and colour photography. The UV filter will absorb UV light and increase contrast in B&W photography. These filters can normally be left in place on the lens at all times, which brings the additional benifit of protecting the front surface of the lens from dirt and scratches. After all a new filter is far less expensive than a new lens, and certainley cheaper than a new digital stills camera or video camera that you can't change the lens on.

B+W Slim mount filters have no front filter thread!
Only 3mm thick these filters are ideal for use with wide angle lenses down to 17mm.
