B+W Infrared Filters

The B+W 093 (87C) Infrared filter blocks the entire visible spectrum and is opaque to the eye. Ideal for use with infrared film or digital cameras that are sensitive to the infrared spectrum of light.

The B+W 092 (89B) Infrared filter blocks visible light up to 650 nm and from 730 - 2000 nm transmission is greater than 90% ideal for use with infrared film. Unlike the 093 filter the 092 allows some visible light through (although only the very red spectrum) preferred by some photographers for use with infrared film that has limited sensitivity.

Nikon and Pentax digital SLR's and some of the Sony models (the V1 & V3 in particular) work very well with infrared filters.
