These filters are different from the standard colour correction filters and may be used either to correct for unusual lighting or to create special colour effects of their own.

82A - Cooling filter for removing the strong reds in early morning or late evening light
82B - Slightly more intense cooling filter than the 82A, also can be used to reduce (but not remove) the cast caused by tungsten light bulbs when in a mixed lighting situation
82C - The most intense of the 82 series cooling filters
85A - Originally designed to allow the use of tungsten balanced films in normal daylight, the 85 series filters are now often used for landscape photography to add a heavy warm tint to an otherwise cool scene - more extreme than the usual 81 series warmups, these filters are best used only when the light is perhaps very cold, such as on an overcast day
85B - More intense warmup than the 85A, again best used in unusually cool lighting conditions
85C - The most intense of the 85 series warmup filters
