Pentax 10x42 DCF CS Binoculars
The successor to the DCF HRc appears in a new design
These two models in the new DCF CS series upgrade and supersede the much-loved HRc series. Thanks to minor design changes, the CS binoculars are significantly lighter and offer much better imaging performance. With these two binoculars DCF CS 8x42 and DCF CS 10x42, PENTAX has underlined its potential for innovation in binocular technology.
Bright and clear:
multi-layer coating of all lenses suppresses reflections and makes the light available for the viewed image. In this way, and also because of the new type of silver coating of the phase correcting coated BaK4 prisms, the CS series binoculars generate a bright and sharp image, faithfully rendering the colors even under difficult light conditions.
Light and compact:
Because of the new rubber armoring, a further 5% weight saving has been achieved compared to the HRc series. On conjunction with the usual PENTAX inner focusing, these are the best preconditions for comfortable observation over extended periods.
Robust and weatherproof:
Neither wet nor dust worry the PENTAX DCF CS series. Because of the double O-ring seals and the nitrogen purging, both these binocular models are suitable for use in all weathers, and are even waterproof up to 1 meter depth. Because of the fully rubberized body, the binoculars are resistant to shocks and impacts, and because of the use of the large focusing wheel they allow easy handling, including use of the centrally arranged diopter adjustment.
